Putting SDAIE* Theory into Practice (Grades 2-12)
This course provides a comprehensive overview of SDAIE and ELD/SDAIE strategies that elementary and secondary teachers (grades 2-12) can use across content areas and grade levels. These ELD/SDAIE strategies and practices are the scaffolds that enable English language learners to access grade-level curriculum while simultaneously developing academic language. This course focuses on a lesson plan format in which SDAIE strategies are embedded and includes attention to appropriate formal and informal assessment strategies. Emphasis will be on active, hands-on involvement and the immediately application of these strategies in the classroom. Click the links below to register.
